Ed was born in Wisconsin, but he moved to Redmond at age six and graduated from high school there in 1934. He graduated from Linfield College in 1940. He was a weather officer with the U.S. Army stationed at Big Springs, Texas during the war. After the war he moved to Prineville in 1951 and to
The Dalles, Oregon in 1966, where he operated Ralph's Transfer and Storage until retiring in 1983 and then owned a van and storage place in the Dalles until he died.
Ed was big and a great football player and lettered all 4 years at Linfield College, in Oregon.
He is a descendant of William Alexander Endicott , the brother of Everett and Edward , and the uncle of Benjamin T. Endicott and George B. Endicott all of whom served in the U.S. military.
